Why this matters: Once an MP authorizes a petition and it reaches the threshold, it is presented in the House and the government must respond. That is real leverage. Until then, every campaign commitment and paper sheet proves Canadians want digital rights modernization — privacy, data sovereignty, and algorithmic accountability. We do not invent e-### numbers. We prepare the tools, build the case, and ask.
Only signatures on petitions.ourcommons.ca after e-### is published count for Parliament. Our site campaign is separate and honest about that.
